Round ups

By Andres Cardenas
Summer 49er

49er track and field athletes Borya Celento and Tayyibba Haneffa represented Long Beach State at the NCAA meet last week in Indianapolis with different results.

However the two 49ers did not meet his expectations as Haneffa finished in seventh place in the high jump with a mark of 5-11 1/4

CSULB Head Coach Andy Sythe said that Haneffa was "solid all the way around." For her effort she was also named an All-American.

Celento had his pole break after he cleared his opening jump of 17-4 1/2.
