An outside contracter who worked at Cal State Long Beach's
Special Education Clinic was arrested July 26 by University
Police on five felony charges of oral copulation and
distributing pornographic material to minors under 14
years of age, university spokesperson Toni Beron said.
Police arrested
Roger McGookin, 63, at his Fountain Valley home and
later booked him into the Long Beach City Jail. He was
released over the weekend after posting $260,000 bail.
University
officials refused to release any information, saying
that the investigation is ongoing.
McGookin,
reached at home by the Forty-Niner, declined to answer
any questions before hanging up.
