Did the candidates address issues relevant to you?

"Robert Garcia was saying we should have cheerleaders. That didn't have anything to do with his political stance. I don't really care about having cheerleaders. I just care about getting an education and where the students' money goes. My last impression of Garcia was that he was trying to please everyone with things that he knows can't happen."

"The second to last one [Wes Woods II] seemed really light-hearted. I didn't take him seriously at all. His speech could have been constructed better ... he had good ideas but he wasn't convincing. The last two [Robert Garcia and Toby Sexton] sounded more professional. Maybe their ideas weren't as good as Wood's, but because of the way they spoke they sounded more convincing."

"Robert Garcia is the man. He addressed all the issues that I'm concerned with. The first thing is that as a student in an organization for five years, Academic Senate funding has been extremely short and something needs to be done about that. And the fee increase is a very important thing."
