Will the Poly to Puvunga Peace Walk on May 8 live up to its name, or is it a thinly-veiled anti-American protest? Are young, naive students being manipulated to promote an underlying political agenda? Are sponsors and endorsers being duped into believing a false pretense? Will the placards read - Nuke the White House? Hang Clinton?
Is the walk a protest about gang violence, hate crimes, and domestic abuse? Or is it about the bombing in Yugoslavia?
Are my concerns for naught? I sincerely hope so. The true character of this "Peace Walk" remains to be seen.
