Praises, thanks honest students
I want to take this opportunity to point out
the honesty of Cal State Long Beach students.
I am a part-time graduate student in social
work and I attend classes on Saturday to accommodate my work schedule.
On April 15, between classes I went to
the ladies room in the University Library. I forgot my wallet in the stall.
By the time I realized what I had done, I was home. It was 5 p.m. and the
library was closed.
I was, of course, frantic. The wallet contained
my drivers license, my social security, ATM, gas and Costco cards, plus
2 credit cards, checkbook, school ID, and approximately $80. I had very
little hope of recovering anything.
When I returned home on Sunday someone
had returned my wallet! Nothing was missing, and all of the money was still
in the wallet. I was shocked, as were the many people I talked to about
the return of my important items.
I would like to send a thank you to whoever
returned my wallet. I am very grateful.
