POLICE LOG

The University Police ha a list of reports that informs the community of suspicious activity around the Cal State Long Beach area. The list can be viewed on the Internet at activitylog.upd.csulb.edu.

Cadillac stolen, found next day
A white 1977 Cadillac Coupe DeVille valued at $2,000 was stolen April 19 from Lot 16. The vehicle was recovered by the LBPD the next day. No arrests were made.

Man arrested for driving with a suspended license
James Williamson, a 39-year-old Lakewood resident, was arrested April 19 for a warrant after attempting to retrieve his impounded vehicle from University Police. Williamson was cited and released for driving on a suspended license.

Cars burglarized; stereos, compact discs stolen

  • A burgundy 1992 Honda Civic parked in Lot 11 was broken into Monday sometime between 2 and 8 p.m. A stereo and amplifier of undisclosed value were stolen.

  • A silver  1990 Honda Civic parked in Lot 11 was broken into Monday between 8:40 and 9:20 p.m. and stereo equipment valued at $300 was stolen.

  •  
  • A black  1993 Honda Civic parked in Lot 17 was broken into Monday between 6:45 and 9:15. A compact disc player and discs valued at $400 were stolen.

  •  
  • A 1998  Acura Integra parked on the first level of the parking structure was broken into Tuesday between 12:15 and 2:45 p.m. Stereo equipment, discs and golf clubs were stolen for a total loss of $855.

  •  
  • A 1995  Honda Civic parked in Lot 14 was broken into Tuesday between 12 and 3:15 p.m. A compact disc player and discs were stolen. Estimated loss was $250.

  •  
  • A silver 2000 Honda Civic parked in Lot 11 was broken into Tuesday sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The vehicle's stereo was partially removed from its bracket but nothing was stolen.
