Restroom ettiquette from the man in the can
Like every other student at this wonderful
institution we call Cal State Long Beach once in a awhile you may have
to use the bathroom.
Some bathrooms are either always occupied
or are being cleaned by maintenance.
After people do their business, l I noticed
that they proceed to turn on the water faucets with their dirty hands.
They take their slimy, stinky hands and directly touch the water faucets
thereby spreading nasty germs unecessarily in an already dirty bathroom.
There is one way one may access the water
faucets without touching the handles and that is by using one's own elbow
to push down the handles. This might look funny but it works.
After doing this, do not touch the paper
towl dispenser with your hands, again use the elbow.
This way fewer germs are transmitted, keeping
the bathroom a cleaner.

Some people may say that they do not have
time to do this but I think that is just a bunch of b.s. because the process
should only take a few seconds.
Let's not forget why you had to go in the
first place. It's probably because you ate at one of the campus eateries.
The Outpost is the only food joint on lower
campus that is easily accessible to journalism and engineering majors.
I have eaten there on several occasions.
First I would like to say that the food is overpriced and not very tasty.
The other day I ordered a $4.50 "Chicken
Pak" meal and was handed a small sandwhich that tasted quite good but the
fries were not good. They were obviously reheated. When I pay good money
I want good food.
