The semester is finally over, and so is my term as editor in chief of the Daily Forty-Niner. But before I go, I would like to thank my staff. Without the tireless efforts of the editors, writers, photographers and production personnel, this paper would not have been possible.
I would also like to thank the students, faculty and staff of Cal State Long Beach for their continued readership and support of their campus newspaper.
Finally, I would like to thank, of course, President Robert Maxson, whose support and belief in this publication helped make this semester great.
The spring edition of the Forty-Niner will be in good hands. Under Rick Alonzo's leadership, this publication will continue to provide its readers with the type of news, sports, editorial and entertainment that made it one of the best university newspapers in the state.
But as for my semester as editor, I once again say thank you and good night.
Jay Seidel is the editor in chief of the Daily Forty-Niner.
