Freestyle freedom

The only way a person has not heard of Eminem yet is if his or her head has been so high in the smog that one has completely lost touch with the underground.

Come back to earth willies and players.

Jeff's
Joint

This 22-year-old Detroit representative is flat out dope.

Signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath label, Eminem has opened for the Hieroglyphics and Wu.

You might have heard him freestyle on Friday Night Flavas, or on the Wake Up Show.

He has amazed dozens of fans and emcees alike with his rare skill of rhyming numerous syllables and abnormal voice.

If you thought Canibus was nice you will definitely like Em.

He finished second out of 70 in the 1997 Skribble Jam after going several rounds of freestyle competition with Chicago's undefeated Juice.

His album "Slim Shady," released earlier this year, was quality work, but word is that his upcoming album is laced with 20 top notch tracks.

Focus your attention heads, this is a new dimension in lyrical skill.

Like I have said a hundred times before, the true mark of an emcee is freestyle ability.

We all know of the emcees that would be happy to tear apart a microphone any place and any time (i.e. KRS, Common, Canibus, Keith Murray.)

We also know of those who would never touch a microphone without a piece of paper (i.e. Mase, J.D., Ice Cube.) I have to call out names, because like Jeru said, "the wackness is spreading like the plague."

Anyway, peep Eminem's upcoming album on Dec.16, and check out his and other real emcees freestyles at HYPERLINK http://www.hiphopmusic.com/arch.html or www.hiphopmusic.com/arch.html. Peace.
