No. 1 volleyball team has No. 5 volleyball fans

The NCAA announced the No. 1 women's volleyball team ranks fifth in the nation in average attendance.

In three of the five home matches this year, The Beach has drawn over 2,000 fans, including a season-high 2,669 fans Sept. 4 against UC Berkeley. The Sept. 4 total ranked as the fifth-best attendance in LBSU volleyball history.

The University of Hawaii ranked No. 1 on the list with a season average of 6,462 fans per game. Nebraska placed a distant second with an average of 3,239 fans per game. Illinois State and Florida ranked third and fourth, respectively.
