News

  • L.A. Marathon relaxes, motivates CSULB student
The Los Angeles Marathon has a long tradition of uniting Angelinos and bringing out the competitive spirit in thousands of people. Cal State Long Beach student Katie DeBoer embodies the spirit of the L.A. Marathon and is looking forward to competing.

  • Famous CSULB alumni contribute to campus
The Walter Pyramid, the Dirtbags and Prospector Pete are not the only popular icons native to Cal State Long Beach. From businessmen to congressmen, film makers, athletes and entertainers, CSULB’s alumni list is filled with some of the most prominent figures in the country.

Opinion

  • Our View: Archdioceses decisions not Christian
While many may associate the ideals of Christianity with love, compassion, stewardship and forgiveness, the recent actions of the Boston Archdioceses have proven those in power in the Roman Catholic Church in Boston are not observing these beliefs.

  • Dealings show undercurrents of dirty politics
I would like to formally congratulate the members of the United States House and Senate on the successful campaign against the scary Arabs who wanted to run our ports. Thank you very much.

  • Sharing dorm potties need not be so difficult
For those of us living in the dorms, sharing a bathroom can be quite an adjustment, so I think it is time to set a few rules to make the dorm bathrooms a better place.
