Online petition may give refund back to students for fees

During the 2005-06 academic year, Associated Students Inc. President Jamie Pollock has conducted the operations and the office of the ASI presidency in an improper, fraudulent and inefficient manner. Due to these reasons, we object to the Pollock administration’s operational and programmatic usage of our mandatory Cal State Long Beach Associated Student Inc. fees.

The purpose of this petition is to request a full 2005-06 ASI fees refund ($88) to signers of the petition for the deprivation of efficient, dignified and functional student government at CSULB. As the chief executive officer of the organization, Pollock is responsible to know and carry out the operations of our organization free of fraud, corruption and abuse.

This petition requests the ASI Judiciary to hold Pollock responsible for her improper behavior as ASI president and repair the credibility of the organization to the student body. This petition reserves the right to add more students who also share this grave concern and object to the conduct of the operation of our student government in this derelict manner.

Students can sign the petition to make a motion to get your $88 back. More than 1,000 students have already signed the online petition. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.

The online petition is at www.petitiononline.com/refund/petition.html.
