    The Los Angeles Times reported at the end of October director M. Night Shyamalan saying the collective moviegoing experience is threatened with extinction.

  • California redistricting proposition fair, beneficial
    If you only vote yes on one proposition today, make sure it is Proposition 77, the redistricting initiative. This may be the most important initiative on the ballot in terms of the actual and symbolic message it can send to the legislators of California.

  • 49er women’s soccer fall to UCR in shootout
    Long Beach State women’s soccer team battled and lost to UC Riverside Sunday afternoon in the first game of the Big West Tournament.

  • UCLA drowns LBSU water polo
    Long Beach State men’s water polo fell to UCLA at the campus pool Sunday. The 49ers lost 9-8, which is the seventh loss in a row, putting their record at 15-12 and 0-4 in the MPSF.
