    Gary & Co. Hair Design will experience a makeover as the campus salon and nail shop takes on new ownership after its founder retired.

  • Video shows trials of homeless women
    Cal State Long Beach students gathered on campus Thursday to view a documentary about homeless women in Los Angeles, sponsored by the Women’s Resource Center. Corina Gamma, the director of the film, “Ties on a Fence,” was on hand to discuss it with the audience.
  • CSUDH might lose campus newspaper
    Cal State Dominguez Hills may become the first California State University without a campus newspaper next semester due to a lack of funding and a lack of solid commitment from school administration.

  • Professor inspired with costumes, quotes
    James Cross, an instructor for the College of Education who was known for getting his students motivated and involved in classes, passed away Oct. 17 from cancer.

    Many parents would like their children to come to them about important decisions, which is why Proposition 73 appears reasonable. This proposition would mandate doctors who perform abortions to notify the parents of minor patients and allow for a 48-hour waiting period before performing the surgery for the patient to opt-out.
