  • Judiciary delays judgment in Godina’s case again
    In a brief session Monday, the Associated Students Judiciary again postponed making a judgment on the complaint filed by John Kitahara against Associated Students, Inc. President Jamie Pollock, choosing instead to hear from two key witnesses next week to help determine the legality of stipends paid to Chief of Staff Bobby Godina.


  • Life-size flower dolls brighten Japanese Garden
    The Cal State Long Beach Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden and the Orange County Chrysanthemum Society (OCCS) held its annual Chrysanthemum Show Sunday, drawing both those curious and aficionados about the flower.

  • Our View: Sexy people winning all elections unlikely
    A rather haphazard study by a University of Texas economics professor, Daniel Hamermesh, revealed handsome male candidates had a 56 percent chance of winning an election. Other less attractive candidates had a 44 percent chance, according to his study.
