Coffins count Protest • In Los Angeles Saturday 50,000 people took to the streets to protest the war in Iraq. Protesters marched through downtown, heading up Broadway to the Federal Building. Another 300,000 participated in Washington D.C., along with 300,000 in San Francisco. Many wore shirts that said “1,900 Dead, How Many More?” They also carried coffins to represent dead soldiers.
