The dorms are oriented towards students who are very involved with school activities and for students who want to get to know more of their peers. This summer, the price for the dorms is rising again. It will be $6,255 per semester, which is a $600 increase from last year.

News

  • Various living arrangements offered
The decision of whether to live in the dorms or in an apartment is a difficult one for Cal State Long Beach, as both options have their own pros and cons.

Opinion

  • Our View: Justice for all
Does anyone really think Martha Stewart will spend five months in jail? Her lawyers are already discussing an appeal. Did we expect Winona to wear the orange jumpsuit for shoplifting? Paying attention to celebrity-style justice distracts us from justice for the lower and middle classes.
Diversions
  • Bourne is back and ready to kick ass
When I first saw "The Bourne Identity" in theaters over two years ago, it had something that seemed to rekindle my interest in spy films. It was much smarter than an average action/adventure/espionage film and it was just bleeding with style and originality. While the first film was great, its sequel, "The Bourne Supremacy," is absolutely phenomenal.
