• CSULB changes payment methods
  Cal State Long Beach started phasing out credit card charges by June 1, 2004 which forces students to rely on more direct, up-front forms of payment beginning in summer.

• Women honored for efforts to advance young women
  On April 27, four women were honored by the President's Commission on the Status of Women, (PCSW) at California State University, Long Beach for their contribution to the advancement of women.
