PCSW Chairwoman Elizabeth Novack said, "we
are delighted to continue this effort to
formally acknowledge individuals who contribute
to the advancement of women at CSULB".
"As
diverse as we are as a campus we are not
diverse in terms of gender," according
to the recipient of the Staff Advancement
of Women Award. Gossage, a CSULB alumnae,
is targeting future females that may one
day be a part of the CSULB community may
consider engineering as an option.

to slightly over 60 percent, only 1.5 percent
of females are part of the engineering department.
