  • Professor chosen as Kerry delegate
    Rajen Anand, professor of physiology in the department of biological sciences, has been elected a John Kerry delegate and will be attending the 2004 Democratic National Convention at the Fleet Center in Boston from July 26 through 29.

  • Students may use evaluations to punish professors
    Throughout the spring semester, students have been judged based on how well they take quizzes, write essays and participate in class discussions.

  • Graduate student awarded social work scholarship
    First-year graduate student in social work, Jacqueline Apuzzo, was awarded a 2004 Social Work Scholarship by the National Association of Social Workers, Region I chapter of California.
