Pepper heats it up

Pepper pumped their signature "Kona-dub-Rock" for CSULB students, drawing quite a crowd. • Jon Cook/Online Forty-Niner

News

  • Religious studies expands
Cal State Long Beach is the first Cal State school to offer a masters degree in religious studies. The first group of students to complete the program graduated in spring 2004.
  • CSULB dance major gives a glimpse into his world
Most students at Cal State Long Beach understand that there are subcultures that lurk and thrive amid the mass student body. These small communities survive among the crowd with their own set of standards.

Opinion

  • Back-to-school thoughts on sorority life
With Labor Day come and gone, school is officially back in session. For many, it is the beginning of a new freedom from parental control, and a glimpse of reality. For me it is the end of an adventure, just memories collecting dust.
  • Cell phones dangerous
Have you ever been driving on the freeway at a reasonable 70 mph when a driver suddenly cuts you off who just can't seem to maintain a constant speed only to pass the car, look over, and find out the driver is on a cell phone?
