Fountain frolic

Display • Students make a statement in the fountains outside Brotman Hall on Tuesday as part of a theater performance. The show was an attempt to test a theory about how people would react to seeing something out of the ordinary. Above, Jeff McGinness, a third-year theater major, reads an old edition of the New Yorker in a business suit to appear like a pop-culture businessman; Daniel Savino, a fifth-year chemistry major, snorkels around the fountains; Breanna Peters, a third-year theater major, and Joel Barber, a second-year business accounting major, go fishing. Below, two University police officers issue a warning to the students. Jon Cook/Daily Forty-Niner
