MTVU searches for next VJ star

Auditions • Cal State Long Beach’s aspiring VJ’s auditioned Thursday for MTVU to see if they had what it takes to be a VJ at MTVU’s Spring Break ’05 festivities. Only one student from each of 10 college campuses across the US will be chosen to compete for the final spot. From the 10 finalist, five will be announced in November and will strut their skills on-air to be judged and voted on by MTVU’s audience. Charles Dorsey proved he had what it takes and will represent CSULB in the competition. MTVU broadcast to over 700 colleges across the country.
