Monster haunts students at CSULB

Monster • Students enjoyed a good scare while others took a detour around the visiting monster from Knott's Scary Farm on Wednesday. It was all in good fun as monster, Tara Gunn passed out promotions for the theme park turned fright-fest.

The Associated Students Inc., were behind the promotion and will have another monster on campus on Sept. 28 and Oct. 5. With a student ID, one can purchase discounted tickets for Knott's Scary Farm at the Student Union Ticket Center, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tracey Roman and Yulian Danusastro/Daily Forty-Niner

  • Marriage amendment debate continues
As the debate about the proposed Federal Marriage Amendment continues, many questions are being raised, such as: what is the nature of marriage? Who decides the nature of marriage?
  • Cheney: War criminal or vice president?
With the presidential elections quickly approaching it is critical, or rather, a civic responsibility, that students look at the record and motives of those up for election.
  • Government and terrorists see eye to eye
The world is a twisted and evil place. This is common knowledge to almost anyone who is even vaguely aware of world events. But it takes something extremely malevolent to shock people out of their everyday stupor.
