Latin grooves heat up CSULB

Music • Top Latin bandleader, Pancho Sanchez, on the drums, brought his mixture of Latin music, jazz, soul, R&B, and pop to CSULB on Wednesday.

The Latin music icon inspired students to dance the afternoon away. Sanchez who has released over fifteen albums shows no signs of slowing down. Borrowing the sounds of Latin music legend Tito Puente, Sanchez played to a full crowd on the Southwest Terrace. Sanchez will be back in Long Beach on Oct. 23 to perform at the Museum of Latin American Art. Tracey Roman/Online Forty-Niner
