    After a long summer break California State University students may come back this fall to find themselves paying a 30 percent increase in tuition fees.

  • Last founding faculty member dies at 84
    Dr. Irving Ahlquist, the last of the 13 original founding faculty, died on June 13 after more than 50 years of service to the university as a counselor to student teachers and a history professor.

    The University of Rice Owls(58-12) won their first ever collegiate championship in a major sport with a 14-2 route of the Stanford Cardinal(51-18) in Omaha, NE, Monday.
