Rachelle Youngman/On-line Forty-Niner

The Steve and Nini Horn Center, previously referred to as the North Campus Center, was officially renamed Wednesday to honor the two individuals for their commitment to Cal State Long Beach. Steve Horn was president of CSULB from 1970 to 1988 and then was elected to Congress in 1992.

Opinion

  • Ban on Uzis should continue
We all need to have a gun. In fact, we should all be carrying one with us at all times to protect us from deviants intent upon using their illegally purchased firearms against us.

  • International students: the few, the proud!
Clarification: The initial title of my previous column was “Why my best friends hate me,” and my sole intention for writing it was, as I stated before, “to engender new seeds of reconciliation” out of “historical roots of conflict.”
