  • SARS does not hinder admission
    UC Berkeley announced last week that 520 new students from areas affected by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome — China, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong — would not be allowed to attend summer classes.

  • Grant to benefit health students, advising office
    A $90,000 grant offered by the California Wellness Foundation was given to the Health Professions Advising Office at Cal State Long Beach’s College of Natural Science and Mathematics for the first time.
