It
was an all around spectacular meet for Loebl,

Loebl returned to the track Saturday and
recorded two second place finishes in the
hammer throw and shot put events.

the shot put event as Josh Sides placed
first with a toss of 59 feet 10.25 inches,
eclipsing Loebl’s second place toss of 54
feet 2.75 inches.
A
strong fifth place showing in the javelin

feet 0 inches rounded out Loebl’s weekend.
Loebl’s

Sampson and Loebl as all-conference honorees
were several other 49er athletes.

better as they finished fifth in the field
