A.S.I
works to increase voting among

In
an attempt to combat low voter
turnout among young people,
Associated Students Inc. continues
its campaign, "Students
to Reinvigorate Democracy,"
by attempting to register hundreds
of students during Week of Welcome.

Profits
from events spread throughout
campus
College
campuses in Southern California
have become a prime spot to
host events with the Summer

Opinion
- Our
View: Bush has a big mouth
I can't tell you how many zeros
are in a trillion dollars but
I can tell you that is what our
new national deficit is going
to be after Bush gets his extra
$87 billion for the continuing
conflict in Iraq.
- Get
lost, get rich by Sarah Thigpen
Many of us have protested the
war in Iraq. As a result, there
has been a push to promote this
conflict and gain the support
of America. But recently, the
mass media has taken a step from
the patriotic to the inane.
- Short-sighted
support by Thomas Hartnett
I am officially declaring war
on the College Republicans. I
remember fondly last spring when
I was participating in a campus
peace rally against the pre-emptive
war in Iraq.
- Speeches-smeeches
Huntington, W. Va. ((U-wire) --
Sunday night, television sets
across America played host to
President George W. Bush as he
addressed the American people.
- Letter
to the editor: A voter's rebuttal
Is the "Our View" section
really the conjoined opinion of
twenty co-workers or is it an
editorial piece doctored by someone
with a powerful demand to be looked
upon favorably by her peers?
