  • CSULB computer networks attacked by three viruses
    Students and faculty were unable to access the Internet last week when Blaster, Welchia and SoBIG computer worms, three malicious strings of computer codes, crippled hundreds of thousands of computers worldwide, infecting up to 100 computers at Cal State Long Beach.

  • Convention promotes Islamic civil rights
    The Saudi Student Club in Southern California held a convention at the University Student Union Saturday in an attempt to unite the Muslim community, said Hamad Al-Badr, biomedical engineering graduate student and president of the club.
  • Security focus of biotechnical conference
    A group of eighteen hand-chosen criminal justice students attended the 10th annual Biotechnical Security Conference June 21 through 25 in Washington, D.C. to learn how to provide security for the nations top political figures.
