    Last Thursday during an African Student Union meeting, the president of Sigma Phi Epsilon apologized for an auction flier circulated around campus.

    Because November marks the start of flu season, it is recommended that students get a vaccination now to prevent the troubles of the flu, said Dr. Ming-Yu Cheng, M.D., coordinator of the Health Resource Center.

    As I drive around, passing all the picketers in front of the grocery stores, I cannot help but think about how pathetic these strikers are. Why would anybody in his or her right mind want to work at a grocery store for a career?

    The Long Beach State women's soccer team played its last home game of the season Sunday against Idaho at George Allen Field. Seniors Lauren Doffing and Abie Curry were both honored before the match began.
