Lost is the Blue Bird amid the haste of our lifetimes. In getting from there to there we forget we are here. Take a second to look and see the happiness inside you; remember a time in your life that you felt truly relaxed. That moment, that split second leaving as soon as it came, can return. Remember the way that your body relaxed and your breathing stilled as you slowly released that last heavy breath from your lungs. Remember the selfless satisfaction and the love involved. Try to remember this feeling as you follow through with your next action and a calm abiding will be created in the people you talk to, the work that you do, and most importantly in yourself. Then it will no longer be a memory of happiness that happened long ago but instead will be a living, breathing creature of kindness and compassion that lives inside you. You will be the vehicle of your own creation instead of destruction.
