Some Short Letters to the Editor

Press the issue

The comment by the representative from the African Student Union that the fraternity's flyer was "racially and culturally insensitive" is totally ridiculous and wrong. They also had whites on the fliers in the same fashion. If they were all black, that would be perhaps racially insensitive. But they didn't. Case closed. Shut up and quit crying racism or black people will never achieve true equality.

information technology manager

Diabolical plan

It is interesting to note that the advertisements with white people were not insulting. Why is that? Why is free speech only limited to those who say what you want to hear? Is there any chance your obvious fascist behaviors will change? Stop liberal hate mongering!

Double standard

How can this be offensive? It is my understanding that there were posters that featured white males in the same position. This seems like the idea political correctness taken too far. It is also bad journalism that your article did not make mention of the above fact.
