Voice: Is the October 7 recall fair?
"I
think the recall election is fair and it
is what had originally been planned after
months and months of preparation. It is
fair to the Californians because that is
what they expected and I believe a change
of office can possibly be very good for
the state of California."
-- Jon Regalado, junior exercise science
major
"I
definitely think that it is fair. I am in
support of it for the reason that it is
written in the Constitution that if we elect
a governor who cannot fulfill his duties
and can't lead our state, then it is for
our own protection that we can recall him."
-- Megan Singer, sophomore political science
and English double major
"I
think the recall is fair because if we wait
until March 2 we will just be hearing the
same thing over and over from the candidates."
-- Brittany Panning,
junior
journalism major
"I
think the recall undermines our entire political
process because basically it is creating
a whole new election. It is voiding whoever
voted in the last election and just undermines
the entire political process."
-- Bao Tran, graduate student
"I
think its fair because Davis wasn't doing
his job and somebody new will be good for
the state of California and education too."
-- Nicole Hartman, junior biological chemistry
major
