The
ability to connect on a fundamental level
with people was part of the power of Johnny
Cash. You can see it in the eyes of his
fans as they looked up onto the stage and
with the words in which his friends describe
him in remembrance. Though his lyrics were
simply echoes of a hard life, his audience
across all genres identified with the passion
and heart that were part of his message.
In that strong heart his music will continue
to inspire us and help us grow.
