Friday, Oct. 31

Vandalism 2:16 a.m.-- University Police were called out to Fine Arts Building 4 when someone heard yelling and loud noises coming from the building. The officers were heading to the second floor and found poster boards and photo mats all over the stairwell and in the hallway. A small table was also destroyed. Four males were found in one of the rooms in the building where the responding officers confronted them. The males had been drinking and two were cited for possession of alcohol. University police is still investigating whether the males are the culprits of the vandalism.

Disturbance 3:43 a.m. -- An anonymous tipster informed University Police that there were people Lot 14D. University Police found four people in the parking lot and two of them ran off. When police caught the pair, one of them placed their hands in a position that indicated they might have had a weapon. The male suspect did not have any weapons but was taken into custody for resisting an officer. He was released but scheduled to appear in court.

Vandalism 10:22 a.m. -- The dumpsters outside of Parkside Commons were spray painted with an offensive message.
 

Monday, Nov. 3

Disturbance 1:04 a.m.-- In Lot 16 the horn of a car would not turn off and was disturbing surrounding residents. A phone call regarding the disturbance was placed to University Police. The vehicle's owner could not be found and the vehicle was towed away.

Vandalism 5:28 a.m.-- A female went out to her car to find that all four tires had been punctured. The victim has no idea who would vandalize her car.
 
 

Captain Skipworth says:
"University Police and the university share high concern for individuals who come to campus and fail to provide respect to university property or the property of others. We strongly encourage people from refraining from destructive behavior. We also encourage people to help prevent destructiveness on campus."
