University
Police are seeking any information that
may lead to the arrest of a suspect who
allegedly sexually battered a woman between
LA1 and LA2 at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The
woman, who is a Cal State Long Beach student
reported that while she was walking through
the corridor between the buildings, she
was confronted by a Middle Eastern-looking
male who was described to be about 5' 9,
heavy set and 40 years old. He had short
black hair and a scruffy beard.
According
to the woman, the suspect began talking
to her then held her against a wall and
fondled her breast. The suspect then fled
on foot to the bus stop by LA1.
The
University Police are asking anyone with
any information regarding this incident
to notify the department immediately by
calling (562) 985-4101, or by contacting
Detective Rick Goodwin at (562) 985-2302.
