Tuesday,
Sept. 23
Vandalism- University Police noticed a Honda
with a broken window on the passenger's
side. There wasn't any evidence of attempted
burglary. The owner of the car was located
and informed of the vandalism.
Wednesday,
Sept. 24
Vandalism- A 1993 Honda Civic was found
with two slashed tires Sunday morning. The
owner noticed the car was tilted to the
left upon arriving to the vehicle.
Thursday,
Sept. 25
Suspicious vehicles- Three suspicious vehicles
were reported on campus. The first vehicle
was left unoccupied in Lot 11 with the windows
rolled down. No one was found in the vehicle.
The next car was parked in the same lot
on the east end ten minutes after. Someone
was found in the vehicle. Whether the person
was taking a nap or studying was not discovered,
but the vehicle checked out fine. The next
vehicle was found running with no one to
be seen. A 23-year-old male was found inside
taking a nap.
Friday,
Sept. 26
Found property- A woman's purse was found
left on top of a vehicle. A police officer
found the purse and turned it in. The woman
owner claimed the purse later that day.
Saturday,
Sept. 27
Missing person- An 18-year-old woman walked
out of Veteran's Administration Hospital.
University Police assisted in trying to
find the female. She was last seen wearing
a dark blue shirt, blue jeans and a black
jacket. The female is described as white
with blonde hair, blue-eyes, 115 lbs.
Monday,
Sept. 29
Sexual assault- An 18-year-old female was
assaulted in Parkside Commons Thursday night.
The victim, who did not sustain any injuries,
knew the suspect. An investigation is in
progress.
