Comedian
and television star, Tom Rhodes will make
a guest appearance on the KBEACH variety
show, "Lisa's Honest Show,"
10 p.m., Wednesday.
Rhodes
television credits include the 1996 NBC
comedy, "Mr. Rhodes," along
with "MTV's Half Hour Comedy Hour."
For the last two years, he has been a
late-night talk show host on the controversial
"Kevin Masters starring Tom Rhodes,"
an American style show in Amsterdam.
Since
there are no FCC standards in Amsterdam,
Rhodes can create a show where he can
do or say whatever he wants about anything
or anyone. This is an idea that
"The Honest Lisa Show" will
try to mimic. Host and Cal State Long
Beach English and theater arts major,
Lisa Jablonsky says that her show tends
to be perverted and wacky.
"The
weirdest things happen on my show.
I tend to ask the weird questions,"
Jablonsky said.
"I
considered Tom my Jim Morrison of comedy,
" said Lisa Jablonsky. "Tom
was a huge influence on me. It's
flattering as hell that he's going to
be on my show."
