CRIME LOG


Crime Log was compiled from incidents reported to the University Police from Wednesday, Aug. 14 to Tuesday, Aug 20.
 
Wednesday, Aug. 14- 7:50 a.m.
A resident at 1431 Hackett filed a disturbance complaint with University Police. The resident reported construction late into the evening and loud trucks arriving as early as 5:30 a.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 14- 7:47 p.m.
A fire was reported in The Gold Mine. University Police responded to the call at the gymnasium and found no emergency.

Thursday, Aug. 15- 1:34 a.m.
University Police assisted Long Beach Police Department officers during an incident at the popular college dive bar Live Bait.

Thursday, Aug. 15- 6:08 p.m.
A vehicle was stolen from Lot 14. University Police responded to the Grand Theft Auto call and a report was taken. Vehicle was still missing as of Aug. 20.

Sunday, Aug. 18- 8:43 a.m.
Another sinister villain or villains has thwarted the efforts of the University Police again as they made another daring prank call. The incomplete 911 came from the Pyramid. By the time University Police arrived, the masterminds had escaped.

Monday, Aug. 19- 5:14 p.m.
Rollerbladers were stopped and warned out in front of the North Library. The rollerbladers had been warned 15 minutes earlier in Lot 6 about the “No Rollerblading on Campus” policy. Being consistent rollerbladers, the same roller-bladers were also stopped on Sunday, Aug. 18 out in front of FO-2 and advised of the same violation.

Monday, Aug. 19- 8:12 a.m.
Another vehicle was reported stolen to the University Police. This time the vehicle was taken from Lot 1. A Grand Theft Auto report was taken by University Police. The vehicle is still missing.
