University Police responded to incidents Tuesday, July 30 through Monday, Aug. 5.

Tuesday, July 30- 7:06 a.m.
University Police responded to a call at the Physical Education building. Robert Long, 37, was arrested for trespassing and violating a "stay away" court order. Long was taken to the Long Beach City Jail and detained on $2,500 bail.

Tuesday, July 30- 11:52 a.m.
A Chevrolet Suburban was impounded by University Police. The vehicle was taken from Lot 11- B for expired registration, overdue tickets and dishonored checks paid to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Tuesday, July 30- 12:29 p.m.
University Police responded to a 911 call from University Student Union- 200. No emergency was found at the scene, the call was deemed a prank.

Tuesday, July 30- 5:13 p.m.
A Dell computer CPU was reported burglarized from the mechanical and aerospace engineering department in the Engineering Computer Science building.

Thursday, Aug. 1- 4:21 p.m.
University Police checked out a suspicious vehicle by the University Police Building. Vehicle checked out OK.

Friday, Aug. 2- 8:03 p.m.
University Police responded to the College of Business Administration and issued a warning due to illegal parking.

Friday, Aug. 2- 8:50 p.m.
Property was found – University Police reported finding one green "Ingear- exp" out in front of LA-1.

Saturday, Aug. 3- 4:29 a.m.
A suspicious person and suspicious circumstances brought University Police to Liberal Arts-5. Location investigated and checked out OK.

Saturday, Aug. 3- 12:02 p.m.
University Police responded to a call from LA-1. A caller reported a sick nauseated woman on the second floor. Victim was not on scene when University Police arrive.

Monday, Aug. 5- 2:34 p.m.
A burglary in progress is responded to at the University Bookstore. Suspect was arrested.

Monday, Aug. 5- 7:03 p.m.
University Police respond to a disturbance call at the Psychology Building Quad. Two female teens are disrupting Upward Bound Program. Suspects refuse to leave the vicinity.
