Campus Police reported incidents from Sunday, July 14 through Monday, July 22:

Sunday 14- 2:29 p.m.
A basketball player on the gym floor at the Pyramid suffered a laceration to the leg. Campus Police responded, the player was treated and taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

Monday 15- 1:12 a.m.
Campus police responded to a disturbance at the Foundation Education Center. Loud music was the cause of the disturbance

Monday 15- 7:23 p.m.
A grand theft call was responded to at 1893 College Circle. Campus Police determined the call to have suspicious circumstances.

Monday 15- 2:44 p.m.
Steven Dollarhide, born 8-23-55, was booked for suspicion of driving under the influence. He was then turned over to Long Beach Police Department.

Tuesday 16- 5:21 p.m.
Campus police responded to a suspicious person call at 1650 Merriam Way. Long Beach Police and Fire Department were already at the scene treating an apparently drunk pedestrian.

Tuesday 16- 5:33 p.m.
Complaints of excessive illegal parking on Fanwood Ave. due to Summer Pro League basketball games resulted in Campus Police issuing citations.

Thursday 18- 2:19 p.m.
Campus police responded to a report that LA-147 had been vandalized.

Friday 19- 9:23 a.m.
A fall outside the University Police station was responded to. A crack in the pavement caused the incident. A tort report was filed. No serious medical attention was required.

Friday 19- 11:54 a.m.
Campus police entered the Dance Center, DCS-131 after reports of a possible fire. The “fire” turned out to be the smell of barbecue coming from the building’s quad area.

Friday 19- 2:34 p.m.
Campus police responded to a 911 emergency call near the College of Business Administration. There turned out to be no emergency in the area. Children were spotted nearby.

Saturday 20- 8:34 p.m.
A petty theft was reported. A wallet was lost then later found at the Pyramid. Unfortunately, the retrieved property was missing $200.

Monday 22- 5:02 a.m.
Campus police investigated a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle checked out OK.

Monday 22- 4:15 p.m.
A purse was reported stolen in SSPA-135. Campus police take a petty theft report.
