Jazz club offers great food, fun atmosphere

By Justin Diemert
Daily Forty Niner

“On the seventh day, there was jazz.”

Spaghettini Italian Grill and Jazz Club, located in Seal Beach, is home to 94.7 “The Wave” on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The smooth jazz FM station broadcasts live to help create a comfortable atmosphere with great music while the staff at Spaghettini goes to work making guests feel at home and catering to their every need.

Barri Tilley, event manager for Spaghettini, is excited about celebrities whostop by to enjoy the music.

“You never know who’s going to be there,” said Tilley. “This is the place for people who truly love jazz.”

The Smooth Jazz Sunday Brunch is a great place to spend an afternoon. The restaurant and jazz club has been open for 12 years and shows no sign of slowing down. In addition to the Smooth Jazz Sunday Brunch, Spaghettini continues to expand the experience through special events like Smooth Saturday Afternoon Live Lunch and the Spaghettini Summer Smoker Series.

The Sunday brunch menu ranges from simple country style French toast and salmon hash with poached eggs to a wild mushroom and spinach omelet and chicken florentine. The entire experience is all-inclusive costing about $40 per person.

Guests also enjoy a buffet with a variety of domestic and imported cheeses, smoked fish, fruits and vegetables. A large assortment of salads, breads, muffins, bagels and pastries are also available. The dessert buffet gives those who still have room an opportunity to continue the dining experience. And what would Sunday brunch be without unlimited champagne?

Spaghettini Italian Grill and Jazz Club is located right off the 405 freeway at the Seal Beach Blvd. exit. They are ready to take reservations any day and with live jazz six nights a week, it’s not to be missed. Reservations are strongly recommended because the restaurant does fill up fast.
