Mark Erkins & Tim May

Sports Information

By Mike Haubrich

On-line Forty-Niner Senior Jessica Smith had two RBIs Sunday to lead Long Beach State to a 5-1 Big West Conference softball victory over Sacramento State. The two RBIs give Smith 107 in her career, breaking Stacy Van Essen's school record of 105. Van Essen played at LBSU from 1991-94. Smith is already the 49ers' career home run leader. Look for a recap of Sunday's game in Tuesday's On-line Forty-Niner. Sports Information
