Hodges comes to Beach

Jibril Hodges,
a 6-foot-1 guard from Forest Park, Ill., has signed a National
Letter-of-Intent to play at Long Beach State, men's basketball
coach Larry Reynolds announced this week.
Hodges attended Rich East High School in Forest Park, where
he averaged 19.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.5
steals per game his senior season. Hodges started all 27 games
for Rich East this season, scoring in double figures in each.
Hodges is the son of former LBSU guard Craig Hodges, who player
at LBSU from 1978-1982 and is fifth on the 49ers' all-time
scoring list with 1,476 points and second in assists with
437.
