Last week, new
Long Beach State men's basketball coach Larry Reynolds completed
his coaching staff, and now Reynolds has taken the first step
to completing his roster.
Reynolds announced Thursday the signing of 6-foot-9, 255-pound
Marcel Jackson to a National Letter-of-Intent to play at LBSU
next season.
Jackson comes to The Beach via Santa Cruz, where he played
at Santa Cruz High School. Jackson played San Jose City College
last season, averaging 8.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks
a game. Jackson shot 57.0 percent from the field.
