Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA will open its exhibition schedule
against the Phoenix Mercury Friday at The Pyramid. Game time
is set for 7 p.m.
Former Long Beach State player Rhonda Smith, a 6-foot-8 center,
is on the Sparks roster and LBSU Intramural Director Glenn
McDonald is an assistant coach for the team.
