Juul top 49er
in Utah

Long Beach State's
Marie Louise Juul shot one-over 73 Tuesday to finish in a
tie for 19th place at the BYU Dixie Classic at Sunbrook Golf
Course in St. George, Utah.
Juul finished 80-78-73 -- 231, and teammate Carla Legaspi
finished in a tie for 53rd at 82-79-80 -- 241 to lead The
Beach to a 12th-place finish as a team with a final score
of 960.
Teal Thron (77-80-87 -- 244), Mira Lee (83-85-80 -- 248) and
Katie Webber (91-88-83 -- 262) rounded out the LBSU scorers.
UC Irvine won the team title at 899, nine strokes better than
second-place Idaho. Two Anteaters -- Walailak Satarak and
Stella Lee -- shared medalist honors at two-under 214.
LBSU next plays in the California Collegiate beginning Saturday
at Stanford.
