Frog's leaps for
fitness buffs

Frog's Club One
isn't just for amphibians.
Located in The
Pyramid, the full-service health club has been open since
October of 1995. The club is open to students, staff, faculty,
and members of the community.
Frog's boasts a
membership of 3,400, including all of Cal State Long Beach's
student-athletes, as well as our very own President Robert
Maxson and his wife Sylvia.
Anthony Macaluso,
general manager of Frog's said that the club has a variety
of aerobic classes available. These include kickboxing, yoga,
pilates, spinning, and both low and high impact step classes.
The classes are included with membership dues. Macaluso said
Frog's has special rates for CSULB students and staff.
Personal trainers
are on hand to answer any fitness questions. There is also
a full-service wellness program, which is geared toward people
with disabilities, Macaluso said.
Membership also
includes convenient parking adjacent to The Pyramid, towel
service, and locker room amenities.
Frog's Club One is open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m.
to 10:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 8
p.m. For membership rate information, call (562) 985-5995.
